Wishing to reproduce my favorite asterisms that I had seen on a southern island and the Summer Triangle, I made this constellation board that lights, moves and talks by programming a computer for kids. The fourth-grade or higher stars in the glittering sky are made of full-color LEDs and 400 optical fiber cables of four diameters. This device has three features: (1) The movement of stars at a specified time is reproduced with music by the motor; (2) The displayed asterisms and the colors of the stars change according to the oral explanation of the locations of the stars in the Summer Triangle; and (3) The shapes of the Milky Way and the asterisms painted with fluorescent paint can be made to loom out from the display positioning an ultraviolet LED closer to the board.
