Rubik's Cube Scrambler

Description of Invention

In the Rubik's Cube official competition、 the referee have to scramble cubes for thousands of times in order to meet the competition needs. Although there will be scrambling formulas and reference pictures on the WCA official website、 it is really a hard time for them to proceed every cube by hand. In order to solve this problem、 we designed a Rubik's Cube Scrambler machine、 which is made up of LEGO Robotics Kit and APP Inventor. LEGO is a great building block that is very suitable for youngsters to realize their ideas easily and quickly. And also there are a lot of reference designs of Rubik's Cube Solver based on LEGO from the Internet. We have done many modifications on the mechanical structure so as to develop a practical machine for mass cube scrambling. Thanks to the APP Inventor platform provided by MIT Media Lab、 we developed an Android APP for Rubik's Cube Scrambler by dragging graphic blocks. The developing experience is just like the way we assemble LEGO blocks.
